Freedom is paid for in blood, and the blood is the blood of the sacrificial in society… To these we owe everything society has to offer. To these we give remembrance, honor, and gratitude, for without them there is no society to speak of, no freedom to tether and to bind us to hope.

Yes, yes, ooh-RAH! … What we once were we cannot again be; yet it is the past - its defeats and triumphs - that builds in men integrity born of Truth… And it is Truth alone that creates a foundation. And it is Truth alone that sets men free.
Not much to write after that. Bless you as you visit loved ones on this day owed to men, often of our own blood, who courageously died for Freedom... Beer for breakfast? Yeah, a splash on the eggs. Dine on the porch. And remember, I’m sitting there for one reason: Them.
