Shame on Garth Brooks for participating in Joe Biden's inaugural charade...

Is he evil or just dumb? ... Or both?

Oh boy, if 48 hours ago you would’ve told me I’d be hammering Garth Brooks instead of ( ___________; pick random Communist from Biden’s freak-show), I’d’ve called you names. Prior to Wednesday (January 20, ‘21), I knew nothing of Garth Brooks’s politics, didn't want to, and didn’t care. There’s a reason “shut up and sing” is an adage (because it should be), and though we love it when they comply - actually shut up - it’s important, too, that they have respect, don’t diss fans, and affirm those who “brung em.” 

And here Garth failed.  He claimed to be Republican (again, I don’t care), but his fans aren’t stupid… If you’re a Garth Geek - a good ol boy from ‘Bama, a cornfield honey (“Stereotypes for $200, Alex!”) - you don’t expect fascists who hate America, especially RURAL America, and who want to seize guns, ban oil drilling, and destroy our way of life—you don’t expect them to hire Brooks. 

But they did… And Brooks let them. Yeah, he gave lip-service to “unity,” which given Biden’s history (and policies) is asinine, so it’s curious, hard to square… What did he have to gain? The appearance, from the office of his accountant, his financial advisor, and - most importantly - his fans was foolish, to put it mildly, and if he wasn’t established he may have “Dixie-Chicked” his career.

On the other hand, when when you’re rich, does it matter?  He’s got $400 mill... So “fans” don’t affect him (not any more) and probably his Oklahoma roots have died. 

Still, the possibilities - that he doesn’t realize that liberals hate Oklahoma, its ethic and ethos; or that he’s simply a Democrat - are grating, and worse, the song, the performance, casted pearls before swine.  To those aware of Dem “values” - their exaltation of abortion, their perversion of marriage, their hostility toward Christ - the singing of “Amazing Grace” was DISgraceful. 

But there’s more to the passage (Matthew 7:6): Do not give what is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces…

So much for “unity”… After Garth sang, Biden, in a wretched move, acted to repeal the amendment prohibiting federal dollars from being spent on ABORTION and, in a mockery of Grace, rescinded the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits the government from promoting abortion overseas. 

Vile clown… Watching Garth fete satanists turned my stomach.  He might as well have sang at a demon funeral.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
that saved a wretch like me..

and Grace, my fears relieved…
How precious did that Grace appear,
the hour I first believed.

Brooks sang this to ghouls… To baby-killers. To people who neither believe in Christ nor redemption in any way.  In fact, he sang it to crooks, liars, and thieves. 

He chose the wrong song… Should’ve been “Friends (*who hate your guts) In Low Places.”
