The miracle I experienced when Loretta Lynn died...
God: the only plausible explanation.
This is amazing... Honestly, if you don't believe in God, it should make you wonder (or even wander), and if you do, it should affirm His abiding ways... What happened?
Well, last week, around 0630, I sat up in bed and for reasons inexplicable pondered Loretta Lynn. “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” I asked Siri, “what’s her age?”—but with NO IDEA that she’d gone to God that very morning.
None… There I sat, considering her life, her voice and sweetness. Out of the blue, for reasons unknown, as birds sang and He began a new day, I pondered and admired her.
Then - POW! - I received a text: Rest In Peace, Loretta Lynn... It came from my mother.
Say WHAT??? … I was stunned. Without knowing, I’d stirred, Loretta in mind, only to be told, while admiring her, that she’d gone to Heaven.
What’s to say? What can anyone say? The odds of that naturally occurring are the odds of Joe Biden negotiating a giant corn maze — impossible.
But it happened… Luke 1; verse 37: With God all things are possible.
Sometimes He tells us, indeed, He’s right here. Loretta’s song “Who Says God Is Dead?” comes to mind:
