Where are the men and their unwritten Code of Rules?
Mafia machismo -- we could use a little right now.
There was a time in this country in which punk terrorist groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa would have been put down, immediately, with prejudice, like rabid dogs. There was a time when you didn’t do certain things - assault people, loot stores, shatter windows - free of fear that consequences would come, and not from people with batons and silver badges. You might, if you were lucky, avoid cement shoes in a local waterway, but otherwise be, hmm…. indisposed.
Because men were MEN and the weak were guarded. Trash a store, a business, a neighborhood in this time, it would be the last time you trashed anything, and, indeed, you might become trash… Literally.
Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia… You stayed in line. If you got out of line, i.e., “too big for your britches,” you were corrected by codes predicated on rules—rules unwritten because it wasn’t necessary to write them down.
And the rule-makers? The men who, instead of writing them, made them stick by example?
Well, let’s just say certain organizations prefer calm, and that respect, regardless of said organizations’ “activities,” maintained order.
Yes, there’s a reason it’s called ORGANIZED, not ANARCHIST, crime.
So, see where I’m headed? When the Mafia reigned- i.e., patriarchy invested in urban blocks - Black Lives Matter, not because of it race imprimatur but because of its violence, would never have been a thing… The Mafia wasn't racist. The Mafia - and, by extension, patriarchal hierarchy - brooked no racial disparity in enforcement. You didn’t crap your own bed… You didn’t bully weaklings. And, as for intimidation, the Mafia never wantonly committed violence, because, again, calm-and-order was status quo.
Antifa would’ve lasted five minutes. But today Antifa is allowed to destroy because unwritten rules - the Code of the Street - disappeared, dissipating over decades and creating a vacuum. No masculine rudder, no ethic, prevails.
So, the rules die and cities degrade. American cities, almost all of which are Democrat-run, career toward mayhem, adopting a dynamic in which police, instead of enforcing laws, witness crime and, as it happens in front of them, stand and watch.
Life is abandoned… Property is abandoned… Criminality Rules. And, indeed, the progressives running these sewers fund Black Lives Matter, fund Antifa, the terrorist wings of the Democrat party.
Now, am I praising Mob ethos? Would I like to see Cosa Nostra return?
No, I’m simply pointing out that its influence on cities perpetuated atmospheres less conducive to random violence, agitation, and domestic terror. The Mafia didn’t loot, burn, and pillage… The Mafia wasn’t politically affiliated. Race-riots did occur (I’m not naive; I remember the 60s; I remember Rodney King), but they weren’t efforts rooted in Marxist doctrine and funded by political factions (Big Tech; woke corporations) that virtue-signal to shield them from being targeted.
Is the Mafia evil? Yes. Is Antifa evil? Yes. Is Black Lives Matter evil. Yes.
But sometimes you have to see the Big Picture. In an ideal world, none of these organizations would sully Gotham, but the world is messy, deeply flawed, and if I had to choose between yesteryear and today, between the era of real yet masculine violence - the Code of the Street - and scattershot mayhem from Marxists, I’d take the former.
The streets were cleaned and you didn’t camp on them. And you didn’t block traffic unless your block was expendable—as in, by men, having your block knocked off.

Sickening isn't it?
Then again, sick people are behind all of this ridiculousness. Evil, sick people.
